Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy
Mazwi Store is committed to providing quality products and fair after-sales support. This policy is designed to protect both the customer and the business in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
1. Exchange-First Policy
Mazwi Store operates an exchange-first policy on all devices sold.
Where a product is found to have a verified manufacturing or hardware defect present at the time of sale, Mazwi Store may, at its discretion:
- Repair the device, or
- Replace the device with an equivalent product of equal value and condition.
2. Refunds
Refunds are not issued as a first remedy.
A refund will only be considered where a repair or replacement is not reasonably possible, or the same verified defect reoccurs after repair or replacement, as provided for under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
3. Non-Returnable Circumstances
- Change of mind after purchase
- Physical or liquid damage
- Software issues, compatibility issues, or user error
- Normal wear and tear
- Devices that have been opened, tampered with, or repaired by an unauthorised third party
- Damage occurring after delivery or collection
4. Inspection & Approval
All return requests are subject to inspection and verification by Mazwi Store. Approval of any exchange, repair, or refund will only be granted after assessment by Mazwi Store.
5. Proof of Purchase
All returns or exchanges must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
6. Timeframe
Return or exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of receipt or collection, unless otherwise required by law.
